Wait longer
In most cases, a house will eventually sell if the homeowner waits long enough. If you can, wait a little bit longer to see if there is any interest in your home. You might be surprised to find that in a couple of weeks or months, someone will finally see your home and will decide to make an offer to you for it.
Rent it out
A second option you could consider is renting the house out and becoming a landlord. A lot of people choose this option when they really need to sell but cannot find a buyer. If you rent it out, you could at least move to wherever you want to go and would have money coming in each month. You would, however, have the responsibilities of being a landlord if you choose to rent out your house, and you would have to be very selective when choosing a tenant for your house.
Lower the price
There are a lot of cases when homes do not sell because they are overpriced. If your home is overpriced, even by a little, there is a chance you would have trouble finding a buyer for it. You could see if this is the issue by lowering your price. If you suddenly have some showing requests for it, you might know then that the price was too high on it.
Short sale
If you do not have a lot of equity in the home and cannot lower the price and still break even, talk to your lender about a short sale. If you can use a short sale, you would have the opportunity to lower the price to a price that is lower than the current value of the house. Using a short sale is often the last resort homeowners turn to in this situation, but it can be a good option if necessary.
